   The West Wing
The West Wing is a truly different series which might not appeal to every series-enthousiast, let alone the everyday television viewer. To some the whole thing might come across as a constant stream of walking and talking about uninteresting political issues. But others see the genius in the extensive, intelligent and humorous dialogues concerning issues that can range from foreign issues to everyday problems, and quickly grow to love the various characters with their very diverse points of view. »

   Green Wing
Although the underlying storyline is a bit thin and moderately predictable, the hilariously crazy staff of the East Hampton Hospital Trust makes this series a great watch. The surreal situations and seemingly flipped out conversations might take some getting used to the first few minutes, but soon enough youíll find that this is a television gem that should be cherished.

   The Wire
In the range of police/detective series, The Wire is in a league of its own. Instead of minimizing stories and character development to have delineated plots fit into specific timeslots and viewers short attention spans, it tries to go all the way and show an investigation as realistically as possible. This means that there are a lot of different things going on at any given moment and the series doesnít limit itself to a specific point of view. »

   It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Itís Always Sunny in Philadelphia takes ironic, nihilistic humour to the next level: a group of amoral sociopaths get themselves into all sorts of absurd situations, where the solution always seems to lie as far away as possible from what is socially acceptable. Sick of the stale sitcom material that fills most tv schedules? Then do yourself a favour and take a look at this gem.

I usually watch Everwood with my girlfriend. [Wink] A teen drama series filmed in a beautiful setting (a small rural village in the US), but enteraining enough to watch through the whole series. [Smile]
